A hidden gem, Brambleberry has an exceptional winery, beautiful wedding venue, luxury lodging on a Wisconsin farm. Friday Noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday Noon to 6 p.m.; Sunday noon to 6 p.m. Appointments are highly recommended for the tasting room as occupancy is limited to 16 guests due to COVID-19 guidelines. Call (608) 525-8001 to schedule. We need to safely space appointments and guests throughout the day. No appointment is necessary if you are just stopping to purchase wine only. Wearing a COVID-19 mask is mandatory. To keep guests safer, we are using disposable menus, glasses, plates and cutlery. You may bring your own empty wine glass if you wish. As we have a restaurant, beer and wine license, no food or drink is allowed to be brought in for consumption anywhere on our property. New summer hours begin in May, lasting through October. Brambleberry Winery is a must-visit for wine lovers, offering a wide variety of outstanding reds, crisp whites and superior, flavorful fruit wines we call sweeties. This artisanal boutique winery has some of the best wines in the La Crosse area and is just a short drive off the Great River Road Wine Trail. Bring your friends for an afternoon of sampling delicious wines in our medieval themed tasting room. Enjoy a glass or bottle in our wine garden. Saturdays and Sundays savory pizzas are available. Case club discount offered on purchases of 12 or more bottles. Large groups and charter buses are welcome by appointment and must book in advance. No dogs or other pets allowed. Children must be supervised at all times. Now booking for 2021 weddings! Brambleberry Weddings The Great Hall at Brambleberry is western Wisconsin's best wedding venue. In addition to hosting elopements and intimate outdoor weddings, our magnificent new building and expanded venue will host up to 175 guests in superior style and comfort. (Larger groups can be accommodated by renting an additional tent.) Beautiful, enchanting wooded grounds and our wedding garden provide a charming scenic backdrop for photos. Offering so much more, Brambleberry is one of Wisconsin's best overall destination wedding spots. Brambleberry Lodging Indulge and relax by escaping to Brambleberry, an award-winning country weekend retreat, rated a top Wisconsin romantic destination. We are a small, private country house hotel (no longer a bed and breakfast). Comfortable rooms, some with whirpool tub and fireplace are the perfect place to get away from it all. Enjoy an evening glass of wine, beer or soft drink after check-in. November through April tourists and travelers may book one or two-night stays. All four hotel guest rooms are upstairs. In the morning, enjoy in-room coffee and a breakfast bread. There is a shared kitchenette for guests, equipped with a refrigerator, toaster, microwave, paper plates, cups and flatware. Overnight guests are welcome to bring your own food and snacks to enjoy in the dining room or your guest room. Everyone is expected to wear a COVID-19 mask in all common areas of the inn and winery. To reduce virus, we only allow one couple per week to stay in each of our guest rooms. Only overnight guests are allowed to enter the inn. Please don't bring other friends or family inside the building. Pets are not allowed. May through October Brambleberry's lodging is reserved for our wedding venue's guests. Weekends without a wedding it may be possible to reserve a room with a minimum two-night stay required. Directions from La Crosse, Onalaska, Holmen and Winona: Take Hwy. 53 to Galesville. Follow 53 through Galesville, past Ettrick to Beach Corner. Turn right onto Hwy. C. Travel 7 miles on Hwy. C until you are just past Franklin. Turn right on Claire Road. Follow the blue signs to Brambleberry. (Please note we are 10 miles south of Taylor.) From Black River Falls, go west on Hwy. 54 to Hwy. C. We are 15 miles west of Black River Falls on Hwy. C. Other fun entertainment is just a short drive. Visit four additional area wineries, Sand Creek Brewery, more than 400 miles of bike trails, Black River canoeing, swimming or scuba diving at Lake Wazee, parks to hike, Mississippi River boat tours and Amish farms. Browse area antique shops and visit local museums. In winter snowshoe or sled at the inn. You can also cross country ski area trails. Snowmobile trails are only one mile away.
